He received his dental degree from NYU College of Dentistry, graduating with honors and earning induction into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) National Dental Honor Society.
Dr. Malakan completed both his internship and oral and maxillofacial surgery residency training at The Brooklyn Hospital Center. His training included rotations at the Brooklyn VA Medical Center, Anne Arundel Medical Center, and St. Barnabas Hospital, where he developed extensive experience in dentoalveolar surgery, implant rehabilitation, facial trauma, and anesthesia.
